About the Team
The team is part of Paytm’s Merchant Lending vertical and is responsible for driving merchant loan and merchant cash advance businesses across India. The team plays a key role in enabling merchant growth through financial inclusion and credit accessibility.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and execution-oriented Process Trainer to support the Merchant Lending business. The role involves designing and delivering engaging learning experiences, building scalable capability programs, and driving learning effectiveness across the Lending Merchant ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to simplify complex domain knowledge into impactful learning content and training interventions. The role will also focus on digitization of learning content and strengthening capability-building initiatives across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Partnership & Capability Building
Act as the Learning Partner for the Merchant Lending business, demonstrating strong domain understanding.
Build and strengthen the Lending Merchant Training function focused on capability development, SOP effectiveness, and learning engagement.
Identify business capability gaps and design behavioral and functional training interventions.
Content Development & Training Delivery
Develop engaging learning content for classroom, virtual, and e-learning formats.
Work closely with SMEs to convert technical and operational concepts into easy-to-understand training modules.
Facilitate training sessions and learning workshops as required.
Learning Operations & Effectiveness
Manage learning calendars, training execution, dashboards, and impact measurement.
Drive digitization and scalability of learning content through LMS and digital learning platforms.
Track training effectiveness using data, feedback, and performance metrics.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with business, operations, and cross-functional teams to drive L&D effectiveness.
Partner with stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business objectives and performance goals.
Ensure timely execution of learning interventions in a fast-paced business environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proficiency in Marathi as a language
Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development; BFSI domain experience preferred.
Experience in training delivery, facilitation, content development, and LMS management.
Strong understanding of learning frameworks, adult learning methodologies, and capability-building programs.
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure training impact and effectiveness.
Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced, and high-growth environments.
High ownership, execution orientation, and willingness to continuously improve and experiment.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
Ability to design impactful learning experiences across multiple formats.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and digital learning tools.
Understanding of technology, user experience, and digital learning ecosystems.
Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across teams.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Education: Graduation (mandatory)
