Pinnacle Dermatology, part of the QualDerm Partners family, is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant who is ready to take ownership of clinic operations and lead a highly motivated team of primarily pre-PA and pre-med Medical Assistants.

- Apply hands-on leadership experience in a high-volume, procedural dermatology setting
- Work closely with experienced providers in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Medical Assistants
- Help manage daily clinic flow, staffing, and provider support
- Train and onboard new hires, ensuring confidence and consistency
- Set expectations and reinforce high performance standards
- Act as a go-to problem solver for team and operational needs
- Partner with leadership to improve workflows and efficiency
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-driven culture
Clinical Excellence:
- Prepare patients for exams, including vitals and medical history
- Assist providers with procedures and examinations
- Perform basic lab work and specimen preparation
- Educate patients on treatments, medications, and skincare
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Keep rooms efficient, organized, and patient-ready

Requirements
- Previous Medical Assistant experience required (dermatology preferred)
- Prior leadership, charge, or mentoring experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with high patient volumes and procedural care
- Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical workflows
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism

Compensation Range: $23.00-$30.50 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
