About the Opportunity
As a VIP Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our base of VIP clients in Australia. This role is focused on high net worth individuals, family offices and smaller corporate clients, driving our growth through partnerships and key client development in parallel to our institutional team, which on the other hand focuses on larger professional, enterprise and institutional clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Primary goal: maximize revenue in the region through onboarding and retention of VIP clients
- Formulate an AUM strategy and revenue optimization based on the product offering of OKX in Australia
- Work closely with the local executive leadership team to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company
- Lead our partnership work in Australia through identifying the right partners to work with plus executing any partnership negotiations
- Manage relationships with high net worth individuals and key clients in Australia ensuring positive customer experience
- Build long lasting client relationships to obtain referrals and new sales channels - origination of new prospective clients
- Proactive account management, work with operations to inform clients of potential roadblocks - frozen accounts, EDD etc.
- Be a brand ambassador, ensuring customers are fully aware of the OKX value proposition.
What We Look For In You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent years of experience)
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
- Proven experience in VIP business development within the crypto, private banking, finance or trading industry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data to drive strategic decisions
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
- In-depth understanding of financial market dynamics and regulations in the ANZ region
