About Us

SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for a Shift Supervisor who is result-oriented, self-starter and eager to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working hours 6-2pm (1st shift) or 2-10pm (2nd shift).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Leadership
    • Supervise, coach, and support production employees to meet daily and weekly production goals
    • Assign work schedules and ensure proper staffing across production areas
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
    • Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams
    • Monitor production lines to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
    • Ensure compliance with established processes and quality standards
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
    • Report, investigate, and address incidents and near-misses
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement
    • Monitor product quality during and after production
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and employee training
    • Work closely with Quality Control to resolve production issues
  • Administrative Duties
    • Complete production reports, timekeeping, and shift documentation
    • Track material usage, scrap, and downtime
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor or leading teams
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Proven leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
    • Ability to read and interpret production schedules and technical documents
    • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions
    • Must be flexible to work weekends, and varying shifts
