Make an impact by joining our team and caring for the pets and people who love them!

Over 30,000 pet owners in the Northern Kentucky – Greater Cincinnati area trust their pet’s healthcare to PetWOW.

Who We Are:

PetWOW is a family-owned company started in 1971: we have two locations in Northern Kentucky and operate a fleet of mobile vehicles that perform house calls in the Greater Cincinnati area.

We are passionate about our mission of strengthening people and pets by making pet care easy!

We care about our team and their well-being, offering growth opportunities, flexible and fair scheduling rotations, team unity events, and frequent recognition and rewards based on performance.

What We're Looking For:

Are you passionate about working with animals and looking to build real, hands-on experience in both grooming and veterinary care? We’re seeking a reliable, hard-working, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Hospital Aide.

This is an active, fast-paced role that plays an essential part in our daily operations. You’ll work closely with professional groomers and veterinary staff, assisting with bathing and prep work, supporting mobile exams, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment for the pets in our care.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, and is comfortable with a physically demanding, team-oriented position. For driven individuals, this position offers a potential path for growth and advancement within the practice for higher level roles as skills and experience develop over time.

This is considered a full-time position; however, hours typically average 30–32 hours per week. Candidates must have flexibility in scheduling, as shifts may include early mornings, later-day shifts, and a rotating Saturday schedule. Due to this variability, this position is not compatible with a traditional in-person school schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional pet groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and general prep work.

• Support veterinary staff during exams in our mobile “Wellness on Wheels” unit.

• Safely handle and transport animals to and from grooming and exam areas.

• Perform kennel duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, feeding, and maintaining comfortable housing for pets.

• Drive company minivan to pick up and transport patients as part of our mobile wellness services.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, equipment, and animal areas.

• Provide attentive, compassionate care while ensuring the safety of all animals.

Requirements

·Valid driver’s license with clean record.

·Self-starter, but able to work as a team.

·Previous experience working with animals, either professionally or as a volunteer, is preferred.

·Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of people, including pet owners and veterinary staff.

·Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry animals of varying sizes.

·Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

·Flexibility to work during operating hours, including some evenings and weekends as part of a fair team rotation.
