Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production orders.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programming instructions for manufacturing parts.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to parameters as needed to ensure product quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery to prevent downtime.
- Perform quality inspections using measurement tools to verify conformance to product tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and workflows.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC operation preferred.
- Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine setup procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
