Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support in daily living activities such as personal hygiene, cooking, and transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities to promote engagement and community living.
• Implement and monitor individual support plans, ensuring adherence to desired goals and objectives.
• Document client progress accurately and report any significant changes or concerns to the care team.
• Create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for individuals in your care.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to provide holistic and effective support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in direct support or related fields is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community outings.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable, or the willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe.
