A lovely, warm family based in Sion is seeking a long-term, live-out nanny to join their household as soon as possible. The nanny will be caring for a 3-year-old girl, who has a 5-year-old brother with his own nanny. The role involves working collaboratively alongside this experienced senior nanny in a supportive and structured environment.

The family lives in a modern, spacious home just a 10-minute walk from the city centre and a 5-minute walk from a nearby lake and nature reserve, offering wonderful opportunities for outdoor activities.

Location: Sion, Switzerland

Start Date: ASAP

Accommodation: Live-out

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week, fixed schedule)

Language: Fluent English required (children are bilingual French/English)

Driving: Must be able to drive or confidently ride a bicycle

Teamwork: Ability to work alongside the senior nanny

• Monday: 05h45–13h30 & 16h00–18h00
• Tuesday: 07h00–13h30 & 14h45–18h00
• Wednesday: 08h30–13h30 & 16h00–19h30
• Thursday: 07h00–13h30 & 16h00–18h00
• Friday: 05h45–09h30

Main Duties

• Providing nurturing care to the 3-year-old girl
• Planning engaging indoor and outdoor activities
• Driving children to school, kindergarten, activities or therapies when required
• Preparing children’s meals
• Managing children’s laundry
• Tidying and maintaining children’s play areas

Requirements

• Swiss or EU Passport / Swiss Work Permit 
• Experience caring for toddlers
• Letters of recommendation or job certificates for verification
• Fluent in English
• Looking for a long-term commitment
• Must know how to drive or ride a bicycle
• Must know how to cook
