This position is designed for drivers who want a predictable weekday schedule, strong earnings, and frequent home time. It blends extended‑local and short‑regional work, keeping drivers home most nights while still offering steady miles and year‑round freight.

Position Overview

This is a Monday–Friday dayshift driving role with 1–2 overnights during the week and weekends at home. The work includes a mix of short‑regional and extended‑local routes, with drivers expected to tailgate the freight when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Average annual earnings of $88,000

Schedule & Home Time

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor‑trailer on extended‑local and short‑regional routes
• Tailgate freight as required at customer locations
• Complete accurate pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain DOT‑compliant logs and safe driving practices
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor‑trailer experience
• Willingness to tailgate freight
• Strong safety record and reliability
