Job Description
- Write, maintain, and tune complex SQL queries and stored procedures within SQL Server environments.
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and Databricks.
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications that meet business and user requirements.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Solves complex problems: takes a new perspective using existing solutions

- Responsible for solving complex problems within their discipline, leading smaller projects, and providing informal guidance to colleagues.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in data development or engineering.
- SQL Server Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
- Experience with SQL Server integration services (SSIS) is beneficial.
- Python Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Python for data manipulation, scripting, and ETL/ELT development (e.g., Pandas, PySpark).
- Databricks/Spark: Proven experience developing and deploying scalable data solutions on Databricks/Apache Spark environments.
- Methodology: Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
- Explains complex, difficult and/or sensitive information; works to build consensus
- Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas
- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
- Nice to Have
- Exposure to SAP data structures, modules, or integration tools.
- Experience in JIRA.
