Medical Surgical Nursing

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Day)
• EPIC and Cerner experience required
• Competitive estimated pay package: $1500

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery or dealing with various medical conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient care plans under the direction of a physician or nurse manager.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
• Communicate with patients and their families to provide support and education regarding care plans.
• Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following hospital protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
