Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, pre-historic sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Position Summary

  • The Food & Beverage Supervisor supports daily operations across assigned outlets by working alongside front-line team members to ensure consistent service standards, smooth service flow, and a positive guest experience. This role provides hands-on leadership through coaching, training, and on-the-floor support while partnering closely with the Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day Food & Beverage operations across assigned outlets.
  • Lead, coach, and support team members during service, onboarding, and ongoing training.
  • Help ensure service standards, cleanliness, and food safety expectations are consistently met.
  • Support inventory flow, par levels, and basic cost controls.
  • Maintain beverage controls, including cash handling and key security.
  • Assist guests as needed, including beverage and wine selections.
  • Foster teamwork, clear communication, and a steady service environment.
  • Support overall Food & Beverage operations as needed.
  • Qualifications

  • One or more years of supervisory or hands-on leadership experience in Food & Beverage or hospitality.
  • Experience leading and supporting teams through coaching, training, and daily service execution.
  • Basic wine knowledge or interest in supporting wine service and guest selections.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • A calm, thoughtful approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Professional presence and a positive attitude aligned with Sand Valley standards.
  • Comfort working in a floor-based role with extended periods of standing and walking.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
  • Learn2Serve certification for alcohol service, food handling, and tobacco, or ability to complete within 30 days.
