About the Role
The Club Operations Pool Attendant is responsible for guest safety in pool and pool areas.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cleanliness, safety and equipment maintenance of the pool areas according to Risk Management and OSHA guidelines
- Monitor maintenance concerns of equipment, pool and garden areas
- Ensure safety is a first priority in accordance with CPR certifications
- Promote positive customer relations for all customers by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours.
- Must be able to withstand weather related high temperatures and sun
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Physically capable of using the required equipment and/or tools specific to position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must demonstrate good communication and customer service skills
- Experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
