Role Overview
This is a paid, temporary internship designed for early-career individuals with strong English language skills who are seeking hands-on, full-time experience in language quality and content operations.
The role focuses on reading, writing, speaking, and pronunciation accuracy in English. No specialized domain experience is required. Training and structured onboarding will be provided.
This position supports an active, high-volume client initiative and requires consistent availability, strong attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate English-language content for clarity, accuracy, and comprehension
- Apply written guidelines and quality standards consistently
- Identify grammar, syntax, tone, and pronunciation issues
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal English communication
- Maintain productivity and quality standards during full-time work hours
- Incorporate feedback to continuously improve quality outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Native-level English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing, and pronunciation)
- Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills
(Comparable to AP English / early college-level proficiency)
- High attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to commit to 8 hours per day for the full duration of the internship
- Access to a reliable working computer or laptop and stable, high-speed internet connection
- Reliable internet connection and quiet remote work environment
- Authorized to work in the United States as a W-2 employee
Education
Completed high school or higher education in the United States or equivalent demonstrated proficiency in U.S. academic English through assessment.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Interest in AI, data, or technology
- Background in data entry, quality assurance (QA), content review, or similar work
Compensation (State-Based, Hourly)
This is a paid internship. Compensation is determined by the employee’s state of residence and must meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws.
Hourly Rate Bands
$11–13/hour
Eligible only in limited states where state minimum wage requirements allow.
Examples include (not exhaustive):

- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
Availability at this rate is limited and subject to compliance review.
$14/hour
Eligible in select mid-tier wage states, subject to local wage requirements.
Examples include (not exhaustive):
- Florida
- Ohio
- Montana
- South Dakota
- New Mexico
- Nevada
Certain cities or counties within these states may require higher hourly rates.
Important Compensation Note
Final hourly pay is determined by:
- Employee’s state (and local) minimum wage laws
- Internal compensation guidelines
- Role availability and compliance requirements
Rates below applicable for minimum wage cannot be offered, regardless of internship classification.

- This is a temporary, paid internship and does not guarantee extension or conversion to a permanent role
- Internship classification does not exempt the role from wage, benefit, or employment law requirements
- Candidates must reside in a U.S. state where the listed pay ranges meet legal wage thresholds
- Employment is contingent upon successful onboarding and eligibility verification
