Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage long-term partnerships with ship owners, ship managers, commercial operators, brokers, and chartering desks.
- Proactively source and onboard new data partners from the chartering and broking ecosystem across oil, gas, and related energy commodities.
- Handle approvals of requests from sales team to sell data to non-end users of data.
- Leverage established industry relationships to access commercially sensitive and opaque data sources, building trust and credibility with partners.
- Maintain regular partner engagement to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent data delivery, working with the Partnerships Data & Success Manager where required.
- Represent the company at regional shipping, broking, and energy events, strengthening owner and broker relationships and identifying new partnership opportunities.
- Provide ongoing insight into regional chartering behaviour, trade flows, and market dynamics, highlighting implications for data coverage and product development.
- Work closely with regional Sales teams to support commercial opportunities, align partnerships with customer needs, and understand competitive positioning.
- Support Data Operations by responding to critical requests, coordinating follow-ups with owners and brokers, and helping maintain data quality and continuity.
- Deliver platform demonstrations and product updates to existing and prospective partners, reinforcing the commercial value of collaboration.
- Act as the primary escalation point for partner queries, resolving issues efficiently and feeding market intelligence back into Product and Data teams.
Required Experience & Background
- Experience working in commercial shipping or commodity markets, with direct exposure to ship owners, brokers, or chartering teams.
- Proven experience sourcing data or intelligence through partnerships with owners, brokers, charterers, or commercial operators.
- Established network across ship owners, commercial managers, ship brokers, and chartering desks.
- Strong understanding of chartering practices, freight markets, cargo movements, and trade flows, and how these translate into market intelligence.
- Experience managing long-term industry relationships involving sensitive commercial information.
- Ability to operate effectively in opaque or fragmented markets, navigating cultural, language, and regulatory complexities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Maritime Studies, Shipping, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in the commodities, shipping, logistics, or market intelligence industry.
