Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and comprehensive medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are at hand.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and manage the handling of clinical specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications to optimize operational efficiency.
• Educate patients about treatment options, medications, and appropriate skincare strategies.
• Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a healthcare setting is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate positive patient interactions.
• Proficient in maintaining patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and standard office software is beneficial.
