The Newsletter Coordinator plays a central role in producing and publishing the company’s editorial newsletters, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and aligned with newsroom priorities and audience strategy. Reporting to the Managing Editor, this position oversees the coordination and execution of daily and recurring newsletters while maintaining a consistent editorial voice and high standards. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial judgment, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines, helping extend the reach of newsroom content and deliver clear, engaging journalism directly to audiences.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate production and publication of daily and recurring editorial newsletters
Curate and organize newsroom content for clear, engaging presentation
Assemble newsletters according to established formats, style guidelines, and deadlines
Review content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and formatting prior to distribution
Collaborate with editors and reporters to identify priority stories and updates
Manage scheduling and ensure consistent, on-time delivery
Uphold editorial standards for accuracy, fairness, and responsible journalism
Contribute ideas to improve newsletter structure, content mix, and performance
Experience & Requirements
Background in journalism, communications, English, or a related field preferred
Strong written communication and editing skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage recurring and fast-paced deadlines
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Ability to work collaboratively within an editorial environment
