The Maximo Utility Working Group is looking for an analytical and results-driven Business Analyst to join our expanding team. In this critical role, you will serve as a bridge between our IT and business operations, ensuring that our technology solutions align with our organizational goals. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement across various systems and workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. A successful Business Analyst will have a keen ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate these findings effectively to stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews.
  • Document and visualize business processes, workflows, and system functionalities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions that align with organizational strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure the successful implementation of new systems and enhancements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support for system deployments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to identify best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficient in business analysis tools and methodologies such as UML, BPMN, or other documentation standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
  • Experience in the utility sector or related industries is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
