Greenhouse Production & Shipping Associate bei Kube-Pak

Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our greenhouse team as a Greenhouse Production & Shipping Associate. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working with plants, have a strong work ethic, and are looking for a temporary opportunity to gain experience in the horticultural industry. Positions begin in January and February and extend through the end of May, with opportunities for permanent employment for high-performing individuals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Planting & Production lines: Assist in the planting and production of our products.
• Seedling Fixing: Remove dead or missing plants from trays and replace with plants to make full saleable trays.
• Shipping: assist in the Order shipping process by picking up and loading customer orders.
• Plant Care: Assist in watering, fertilizing, pruning, and transplanting plants to ensure they are healthy and thriving.
• Maintenance: Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the greenhouse, including sweeping, weeding, and removing dead plants.
• Seasonal Tasks: Participate in seasonal activities such as planting seeds and preparing plants for sale.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent attention to detail and willingness to work hard.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Dress Code: Long Pants, shirts that cover the shoulders. Closed toe shoes.

Hours

Regular hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday/Sunday hours that vary by position.
