THE ROLE

Victory Home Remodeling is seeking a Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to join our Media Production team.

You will be responsible for editing brand films, commercials, social content, internal communications, and event pieces, while also creating original motion graphics that enhance narrative and emotion, not distract from it.

This is a hands on editing role for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, music selection, and emotional arc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Editing & Storytelling

• Edit short-form and long-form video projects with strong narrative structure, pacing, and emotional pull
• Select and design music, sound design, and rhythm to support story and tone
• Perform color correction, audio cleanup, and final delivery with high polish

Motion Graphics

• Design original motion graphics (lower thirds, titles, transitions, logo stings)
• Create motion systems aligned with Victory’s brand (typography, color, animation style)
• Support brand campaigns, internal communications, and commercial work

Collaboration & Execution

• Work closely with the Media Production Manager and Creative leadership
• Execute from creative briefs while offering thoughtful creative input
• Maintain organized project files, version control, and naming conventions
• Deliver projects on time without sacrificing quality

OUTPUT EXPECTATIONS

• Edit and deliver 6–12 films per quarter (mix of short-form + long-form)
• Produce motion graphic packages for campaigns, events, and internal initiatives
• Support ongoing weekly content for social and internal platforms

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of professional video editing experience (in-house, agency, or freelance)
• Expert level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong working knowledge of Davinci Resolve, Final Cut, And Photoshop
• Deep understanding of pacing, typography, color, composition, and sound
• Ability to explain why you made creative decisions, not just how
• Strong portfolio demonstrating real footage, narrative editing, and original motion graphics

THIS ROLE IS NOT A FIT IF

• Your portfolio relies heavily on After Effects templates
• Your experience is primarily graphic design with minimal video editing
• You cannot demonstrate story driven editing with real footage
• You do not have a public portfolio or website
• You are unable to walk through your creative process
