Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist (U.S.)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA (Remote — Bay Area Only)
Travel: 25–50% (primarily local Bay Area supplier visits)

About the Role

At Fictiv, we’re building the world’s leading platform for hardware manufacturing. As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will play a critical role in that mission by sourcing, qualifying, developing, and managing work distribution across our network of U.S.-based Manufacturing Partners—who are far more than just suppliers.

This is a remote position, and you will work from a home office. However, candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. Local presence is required due to frequent, in-person visits to manufacturing partners for capability assessments, relationship building, and supplier development.

This is not a desk-only sourcing role. Success in this role requires deep manufacturing knowledge, hands-on supplier engagement, and the ability to evaluate real production capabilities—not just quotes or spreadsheets.

You will leverage your expertise in supplier sourcing, qualification, and development, along with your background in Business, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing, to strategically build and strengthen Fictiv’s domestic manufacturing network. You will cultivate high-trust relationships, champion continuous improvement, and ensure operational excellence across capacity, capability, quality, and cost.

You will report to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing for the U.S. Region, serving as a senior contributor and subject-matter expert within the Strategic Sourcing team.
