We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer / Editor to support classified programs by developing, editing, and maintaining high-quality technical and operational documentation. The ideal candidate has experience working in cleared environments, can translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation, and understands the importance of accuracy, consistency, and security compliance.
This is a fully onsite opportunity in Fort Belvoir VA
Salary: $80-90k/year
Due to Government Contract, all viable candidates must have an active Top Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance

Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and format technical, operational, and program documentation in support of classified initiatives
- Translate complex technical, engineering, or intelligence-related information into clear, user-friendly documentation
- Edit documents for clarity, grammar, style, consistency, and compliance with organizational and government standards
- Ensure all documentation complies with security, classification, and handling requirements
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, program managers, and other subject matter experts to gather requirements and validate content
- Maintain version control and document configuration management in classified environments
- Prepare and support executive-level briefings and presentations
- Apply government or industry documentation standards and style guides as required
Requirements:
- Due to Government Contract, all viable candidates must have an active Top Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance
- 3+ years related work experience
