Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Mental Health to join our committed clinical team at a well-known facility in beautiful Charleston, SC!

In this crucial role, you will provide compassionate care to patients dealing with mental health issues, ensuring that they receive the support and treatment needed for their recovery.

Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to individuals with mental health conditions in various settings.
• Conduct thorough assessments, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Administer psychotropic medications and provide education regarding their effects and side effects.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Encourage patient engagement in therapeutic activities and group sessions.

Requirements

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license, with a minimum of two years of mental health nursing experience. BLS and/or ACLS certifications are required.

Recent experience (worked within the last 6 months). Comfortable with 12-hour shifts (days/nights, rotating weekends)

EMR proficiency is also necessary, and applicants must be U.S. Citizens or hold a Green Card.

Any U.S. State RN License in good standing in this field is accepted.

 Key Skills: Strong assessment skills, effective communication, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.

 Continuing Education: Must meet state licensure continuing education requirements to maintain a valid nursing license.

Please note:

This is a local, on-site opportunity in Charleston, SC supporting a long-term (5-year) federal healthcare contract.

While this is not a travel assignment, it is an excellent fit for out-of-state or former travel nurses who are ready to relocate and transition into a stable, full-time role or ideal for a local Charleston candidate or local to the area and wanting a long term stable position in the area.
