The Role
You'll drive adoption and value realization for chemical companies that have purchased Knowde—not just signed contracts, but actual transformation in how they work. You'll partner with C-suite officers to teach and enable their teams to leverage data to execute against their toughest business initiatives.
This role requires deep experience with transformation initiatives, particularly large-scale data and system integration projects. You'll diagnose where the greatest opportunities reside, proactively identify obstacles to adoption, and develop strategies to deliver successful outcomes. You own the customer relationship from adoption to renewals and expansion, spending approximately 25% of your time on-site running workshops, uncovering new use cases, and proving that a stronger data foundation improves operations and competitive positioning.
What You'll Do
Own the Customer Relationship
- Understand customer's transformation and digital agenda, align Knowde's platform to deliver against it
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor across the customer organization—from technical teams to executives
- Build and maintain executive relationships at VP and C-suite level
- Identify where Knowde's platform creates the most business impact across different functions
Drive Platform Adoption
- Evangelize digitally-enabled processes and win executive buy-in to hit new adoption milestones
- Consult with C-suite and VP executives on how data underpins their most important initiatives
- Proactively identify and address obstacles to adoption before they become blockers
- Lead on-site workshops and strategic engagement sessions to accelerate value realization
Manage Your Book of Business
- Own renewals by proving ROI and storytelling impact throughout the customer lifecycle
- Ensure customers see and understand value well before contract renewal discussions
- Uncover expansion opportunities through strategic engagement and on-site workshops
- Manage multiple accounts and stakeholder relationships simultaneously without dropping commitments
Influence Organizational Change
- Guide mature organizations through change management required for digital transformation
- Explain complex technical issues and their business impact in simple terms, adapting to your audience
- Build business cases that justify continued investment and expanded use of the platform
- Navigate skepticism and resistance by demonstrating concrete results
About You
- Track record of extreme ownership and driving results without being asked
- Direct experience with transformation initiatives, particularly large-scale data and system integration projects
- Proven ability to manage executive relationships—comfortable and confident engaging VPs and C-suite as peers
- Ability to explain complex technical issues and business impact in simple terms, adapting tone and framing to your audience
- Demonstrated success managing multiple accounts and stakeholder relationships simultaneously
- 4-year degree (STEM or Business preferred)
You'll stand out if you have:
- Experience in the chemicals industry (supplier, distributor, consulting, or professional services) or other industrial/manufacturing sectors
- Led digital transformation projects in industrial or traditional markets that required convincing skeptical organizations to change
- Implemented technical data or software solutions where adoption was the hardest part
- Sales experience with ability to develop business cases and drive commercial intent
- Track record of influencing without authority—getting teams to adopt new processes despite skepticism
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $120,000 - $200,000/year + annual bonus
Equity: Yes, equity is included as part of the compensation package for this role.
Note: This role requires approximately 25% travel for on-site workshops, relationship development, and value demonstration.
