We are hiring a Material Handler to join our logistics team and support safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials at our Palestine, TX site. This is more than moving products — it’s a critical role that supports our manufacturing teams, ensures accurate shipping and receiving, and upholds the quality and safety standards our customers count on.

What you’ll do:

  • Safely handle, store, and ship specialty chemical materials according to site and regulatory standards
  • Calculate weights and measures related to warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities
  • Secure packages to pallets using stretch wrap and banding equipment
  • Label and document packaging accurately for inventory and shipment
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are placed in correct storage locations
  • Complete documentation including inspection observations and work orders
  • Follow all safety procedures and required personal protective equipment
  • Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately
  • Maintain clean and organized warehouse and work areas through housekeeping activities
  • Support team members and assist with training when needed

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in a processing or general batching environment preferred
  • Technical degree or certification, military experience, or prior manufacturing/chemical operations experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of warehouses, shipping, receiving and logistic operations
  • Forklift and manlift operation and certification preferred
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Good communication and teamwork skills with willingness to take direction
  • Basic computer skills with strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background check, and pre-employment physical
