Wesley Biblical Seminary is seeking a passionate and qualified individual to join our team as the New Fields Director. This pivotal role is designed for a dynamic leader who can take initiative in the development and execution of innovative programs that expand our reach and impact within the community and beyond. The New Fields Director will be responsible for identifying new areas of growth and opportunity in theological education, partnering with local churches and organizations to establish connections, and fostering relationships that align with Wesley Biblical Seminary's mission and vision. This position requires a deep understanding of both theological education and community engagement, as well as the ability to articulate and embody our Wesleyan values. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong theological background and a passion for spiritual formation but also possess skills in project management, marketing, and relationship building. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and cultivate new fields for ministry and education.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with local churches, organizations, and community leaders.
- Design engaging outreach programs that attract diverse participants.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to create relevant academic offerings for new fields.
- Manage outreach initiatives and ensure alignment with seminary mission and goals.
- Monitor and evaluate outreach programs to determine effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Represent Wesley Biblical Seminary at community events and activities to promote our mission and programs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Theology, Education, or a related field is required; a doctoral degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement and outreach program development.
- Strong understanding of theological education and Wesleyan traditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and groups.
- Experience in project management and strategic planning.
- Commitment to the mission of Wesley Biblical Seminary and a passion for expanding its reach.
