About Us
We’re an early-stage robotics and AI startup on a mission to make it dramatically easier for companies to apply physical AI to real-world robots. We focus on robotic manipulation with a mission to help engineers seamlessly integrate AI into robots and drastically reduce the cost and complexity of robot programming and deployment compared to traditional methods.
We’re now looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Short Term Engineering Intern to help with data collection for robotic training. We’re especially excited to meet candidates with strong software engineering, robotics and/or AI/ML expertise who are passionate about robotics and eager to turn cutting-edge research into real-world products.
About Our Internship Program
We're looking for ambitious interns who want to make a real impact. You'll work hands-on with egocentric data capture for training AI models and teaching robots new skills.
You'll be mentored directly by our CEO and CTO with decades of experience in AI+robotics, working with founders who are in the technical trenches alongside you.
Work remotely with flexibility, come together in person up to once a week, and get hands-on training at MassRobotics, one of the premier robotics hubs in the world.
Ultimately, you'll leave with the kind of AI and robotics experience that's impressive on a resume because it actually was impressive to earn.
Who You Are
- Industry or academic experience with data science, AI/ML, robotic manipulation, automation systems, or controls
- Startup mindset - adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and wearing many hats in a fast paced environment
- You thrive in a high-autonomy, fast paced environment.
- You take ownership and don’t need to be micromanaged on what the top priorities are at any given moment.
- You’re hungry to make a huge impact, personal growth, and like to have fun
- You enjoy getting you hands dirty across the whole stack ML stack from R&D through production
- Deeply passionate about the latest in AI and robotics
What You’ll Do
- Capture egocentric data from human demonstrations to train AI models for robots
- Evaluate datasets to ensure data quality before ingesting the data into our AI models
- Keep up with cutting edge research on robot learning (VLA’s, Imitation Learning, RL etc.) and evaluate them to improve our stack
- Build data pipelines and infrastructure for real world robot deployments
Who Should Apply
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, including experienced robotics engineers, software engineers, and robotics researchers looking to transition into startups.
We are unable to sponsor visas at this time
