Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Cocoa Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery, including any of the following: Plasma Burn Table, Water Jet, Drill Line, Angle Line, Shear, Press Brake, and Plate Processor.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who can manage multiple tasks, work independently, and effectively communicate with team members to support production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC machinery such as Plasma Burn Table, Water Jet, Drill Line, etc.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Use common measuring tools and perform shop arithmetic (including decimals and fractions)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with CNC downloads
- Proficiency in reading shop drawings/blueprints
- Computer literate with basic technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use standard measuring tools (e.g., tape measure)
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License required
