Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will operate and monitor a Bismarck CNC laser cutting machine to process carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals with precision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the CNC laser cutting machine to ensure accurate production.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders for precise part quality.
- Set up the machine, adjust cutting parameters, and prepare tooling for daily operations.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components using forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance, including lens cleaning, nozzle changes, and alignment checks.
- Monitor production, troubleshoot quality or equipment issues, and communicate with supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with CNC laser machines preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes if required.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
