About the Role
We are looking for an International Mobility Co-ordinator to join DS Smith's International Workforce Team (IWT). The role will involve co-ordinating mobility operations and liaising with key functions to enable critical cross-border moves within the EMEA organisation.
Reporting to the Head of International Mobility, EMEA, you will also work closely with IWT Managers on projects and activities to provide a seamless mobility service, in order for the business to achieve its objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong and trusting relationships within the mobility team, broader HR and Finance function, external vendors. and with the mobile employee population.
- Understanding the legacy of the business and helping to identify and implementing process improvements to the mobility capability.
- Setting up Purchase Orders, checking invoicing & recharging
- Co-ordinating Tax Payments
- Tax Equalisation (TEQ) Administration – ensuring appropriate cases are tracked and managed in a timely manner, and refunds are recovered from tax authorities and employees.
- File Management & Tracking – ensure we build our internal data capability of tracking different types of mobile employees
- Initiate services with third-party vendors, prepare assignment letters and draft payroll instructions
- Ensuring accuracy in processing information and reporting.
About You
- A keen interest in global mobility and international workforce management.
- Keen to learn and develop as the role has scope to expand with experience.
- Team player with ability to develop relationships in the organisation and externally.
- Responsive to the needs of the team and the organisation, and able to be flexible in their approach.
- 2 years + in a Mobility, HR, tax, payroll, finance, relocation or complex administration role.
- Preferably educated to graduate level with a HR, Management or Finance related degree.
- Well organised with a good attention to detail.
- Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Able to take direction, but also to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. within the remit of the role.
