The Strategic Change Service is looking for a self-starter to assist with essential day-to-day business processes, to enable the work of the Operations team to be achieved in an efficient manner. This role supports the administration of the Service, and will involve finance processing, HR recruitment support and assisting with maintaining the Service SharePoint site.
The opportunity:
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering 28 hours or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working, with an expectation of three days a week on campus.
This post is for 24 months initially . We welcome secondments with agreement between line manager and applicant.
The salary for this post is £29,588 - £33,951 per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Demonstrable HR or finance administration and support experience
- Experience of, or a willingness to learn about broader operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a team, build good relationships and deal with queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Good time management, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Good customer service skills with proven ability to give clear advice to colleagues in a professional manner.
