We are a fast-growing global reinsurance speciality company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd’s, Europe and North America.
 
Due to increased deal volume and legal resource requirements, our M&A Senior Counsel is looking to hire our first Paralegal to support on a variety of legal and related administrative tasks across all stages of complex, global transactions.

Assisting with transactions from pipeline to post-completion:

• Review and prepare NDAs, LOEs and other ancillary agreements
• Proofreading various transaction agreements and related drafting tasks
• Coordinate logistics for signing and completion 
• Undertake topical legal and regulatory research and draft research memos
• Maintain document repositories and ensure that materials and resources (know-how, precedents, policy documents) are kept up to date and well organised
• Liaise as needed with Panel law firms (preparing SoWs, managing purchase orders and processing invoice payments)

Candidate requirements

• Right to work in the UK 
• Legal qualification (QLD, PGDL, SQE, or equivalent) from common law, EU or North American jurisdictions
• Experience in a M&A or corporate transactional environment (either in-house or private practice)
• (Re)insurance or financial services experience is preferred; applicants with experience in other highly regulated industries also considered
• Highly organized with strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent team playing and communication skills including written work; proactive and willing to learn
• IT literate and competent in a range of office applications including MS Office suite
