Duties

You will plan, organize, coordinate, direct, control, and maintain the financial management issues.,You will provide accurate data essential for operational effectiveness and to promote efficiency and effectiveness in the performance of assigned mission.,You will conduct program planning and budget analysis through the development of forecasting patterns, resolution of reprogramming actions, and balance budget aspects of diverse operating programs.,You will prepare the NSW Echelon III command budget estimates and justifications for submission to USSOCOM via the NSWC Force Comptroller office.,You will act as primary consultant on budgetary recommendations and continually evaluates the rapidly changing needs of the NSW Echelon III command for both direct and reimbursable support.,You will develop and maintain a system of budgetary controls to ensure availability of funds and that proper balance exists among approved programs.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing direct advice and support on all matters relating to financial management, to include coordinating/directing, implementing, and maintaining financial activities; providing expert consulting on budgetary recommendations; AND identifying areas of improvement and recommending changes to financial plans. Other Information

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management. Several vacancies may be filled.
