Astria Health is seeking a Food Services Manger to join our team! This position is at our Toppenish Hospital.

The Food Service Manager plans, organize, directs and controls the preparation and presentation of wholesome, quality food products for cafeteria and patient services. You will:
- Provides oversight and timely processing of the POS system and maintains sound budgeting and financial management of the department.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with employees and care providers.
- Maintains responsibility for ongoing accreditation and regulatory compliance.
- Supervises all personnel and establishes policies and procedures for Food Services programs.
- Responsible for the planning, development, program evaluation, and quality and safety for Food Services.
- Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of Food Service areas per American Osteopathic Association and Department of Health Standards.
- Manages and trains all staff in the food services department on basic requirements of their job role. Establish standards for personnel performance and customer services.
- Establish and enforce nutritional standards for dining establishments based on accepted industry standards and in collaboration with the Registered Dietitian.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Works collaboratively with the Registered Dietitian to improve food services for patients. Along with identifying other processes for improvement with the Registered Dietitian.
- Schedule catering services for events such as banquets or receptions, and negotiate detail of arrangement with clients.
- Perform some food preparation or service tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary.
- Estimate food and other beverage consumption in order to anticipate amounts to be purchased or requisitioned.
- Review menus and analyze recipes in order to determine labor and overhead costs, and assign prices to menu items. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity.
- Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance in dining facilities.
- Continuous quality improvement and customer service. Looks for and suggests ways to better meet customer requests and needs. Notifies appropriate person immediately of any problem jeopardizing positive customer relations. Participates in customer satisfaction goals.
