Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed work plans and schedules for mechanical teams
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations
- Conduct daily safety briefings and site inspections
- Manage and direct a team of mechanical technicians and craftspeople
- Perform quality control checks and documentation
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical solutions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
- Coordinate with other discipline supervisors to ensure smooth project execution
Qualifications
- Experience of Mechanical supervision within industrial settings, preferably in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting, CCSNG)
- Ability with BA and work in confined spaces
