Description Accountabilities:
Primary Purpose: The Oral Radiologist is a dental specialist
who interprets diagnostic imaging of the teeth, jaws, face, and related
structures. They analyze radiographic examinations such as CBCT, panoramic
radiographs, cephalometric images, intraoral radiographs, CT, MRI, and other
advanced imaging modalities to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
planning in dentistry and medicine. They will, at the University of
Saskatchewan, provide instruction, support, and curriculum overview to
students.
Nature of Work: Reporting to the Dean or designate, this position works with clinic patients, dental students, staff and faculty to
support the patient care function from an Oral Radiologist perspective. This position will be focused on both
managing and ensuring quality of the existing curriculum, as well as building a
new Graduate Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
