Starting Salary: Based on experience

Work Environment: Monday – Thursday 2:30 pm – 1:00 am with OT as required
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor position supervises the operation of the maintenance shop and maintenance employees to ensure quality work is being done. This position reports to the Maintenance manager. The lead by proactively resolving safety issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable policies and procedures
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision over maintenance employees
- Oversee the general operation of the maintenance department with a major focus on compliance with respect to employee safety
- Oversees and ensures daily maintenance operations are completed in a satisfactory manner
- Ensures environmental compliance
- Monitors work for quality and ensures that it is being completed accurately and on time
- Achieves maintenance efficiency and minimizes maintenance downtime
- Develops work assignments
- Tracks employee time. Approves vacations/leave
Requirements:
- 3+ years previous industrial maintenance experience to include mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience
- Demonstrated project management, planning, implementing, and organizational skills, including reporting
- Three (3) years of leadership/supervisory experience in a related job function
- Ability to use and understand precision measuring tools and equipment
- Requires good communication and technical skills along with being detail oriented
- Troubleshooting/diagnostic skills
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly throughout the day
- Regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
- Regular bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, and turning
- Frequently required to stand (up to 10 hours) and walk
- Noise level is usually moderate
- Exposure to head and cold extremes at times
- Exposure to potentially hazardous production areas (heavy equipment traffic, slip/trip hazards, airborne dust/debris, etc)
