Job Description:

YOUR TASK

As a Manager Transaction Advisory, you will work closely with our partners and our clients' stakeholders to ensure the smooth coordination of our projects. With your experience in consulting, you have worked on a wide range of projects in the tech, fintech and SaaS sectors and have already gained experience in advising private equity clients. 
While you work hands-on on larger projects, you also coordinate tasks such as preparing quotations, sector studies and similar with your team members. 
You know the strengths and qualifications of your team and deploy them in a goal- and success-oriented manner. 
You will accompany our partners and principals to client meetings and keep the client's needs and requirements in mind throughout the entire project. Your focus will be on delivering tailor-made results with clear and actionable recommendations, as well as optimally planning our resources and supporting individual team members. 

Look forward to diverse and challenging tasks, such as: 

  • Independent management of advisory projects for private-equity investors in international transactions (focus: tech, software, IT services, industrial tech) 
  • Development, management and implementation of commercial due diligence projects on the buy- and sell-side as well as comprehensive analyses of business models, competitive landscapes and market potentials 
  • Structuring, presentation and validation of value enhancement and growth strategies for portfolio companies 
  • Active advice and conception of buy & build and digitalization programmes; preparation and presentation of equity stories and value creation plans 
  • Identification of new investment opportunities (e.g. through target screenings, sector strategies, market trends) 
  • Preparation and presentation of results reports, workshops, client meetings and strategic pitch presentations for internal and external stakeholders 
  • Professional leadership, coaching and development of consultants in day-to-day project work with both national and international teams 
  • Participation in business development: support in acquisition, pitch preparation and the further development of our consulting services 
  • Cross-functional collaboration with international teams and experts for technology, data and operations in the international private equity environment 
Qualifications:

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • You have a completed master's degree and several years of practical experience in consulting, corporate finance, or start-up environments.
  • You have experience in independent project management and leading project teams in management consulting.
  • Experience in strategy and transaction consulting, particularly in Commercial Due Diligence.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, as well as results orientation and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills in both German and English
