Your Role
As a Migration Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing robust customer and policy migration solutions aligned with the Enterprise Platform Flight Plan.
You’ll work closely with the Migration Platform Manager, Iteration Manager and Migration Data Architect, contributing to the platform’s delivery culture and technical outcomes.
This is a permanent role, offers a flexible hybrid work model. We welcome applicants from Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane).
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver robust, secure migration solutions with minimal operational support.
- Manage technical workload and stakeholder expectations while driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure high-quality outcomes aligned with industry best practices and cyber risk mitigation.
- Adhere to governance frameworks, group policies, and platform delivery standards.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience within a program environment delivering large scale change and using Postgres, SQL and functions
- Experience in the development of applications on a Unix platform, including unix tools, utilities, python and shell scripting
- Experience in Mainframe System and DB2.
- Good stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to talk confidently about issues and factors impacting groups and individuals.
- Experience leading a testing team and executing testing plans
