Your Role as a Human Resources Coordinator: As the HR Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service across various HR functions. Your responsibilities will include:
•    Payroll Processing: Ensuring accurate and timely weekly payroll processing.
•    Onboarding: Facilitating a positive and efficient onboarding experience for new hires.
•    Benefits Administration: Managing health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and conducting benefit audits.
•    HR Policy Support: Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
•    Job Requisition Management: Reviewing and approving job postings on internal and external job boards.
•    HRIS Management: Assisting with the setup and management of the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy.
•    Performance Review Administration: Managing the performance review process for plant employees.
•    Exit Interviews and Terminations: Conducting exit interviews and assisting with the termination process.
•    HR/Payroll Changes Approval: Approving HR/payroll changes such as time off, demographic updates, and position changes.
•    Communication Development: Creating and distributing HR-related company communications.
•    Policy Implementation: Enforcing company policies to ensure fairness and consistency across operations.
•    Employee Relations: Addressing employee complaints and assisting with investigations.
•    Process Improvement: Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and reduce administrative burdens.
•    FMLA Administration: Managing FMLA paperwork and processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
•    Education: An Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; a bachelor’s degree or certification in HR or Benefits Management is a plus.
•    Experience:
o    1-3 years of experience in benefits administration and employee benefits management.
o    Experience in processing payroll for large groups (200+ associates).
o    Familiarity with insurance programs and knowledge of FMLA and COBRA regulations.
o    Previous experience with HRIS and benefit administration software.
•    Preferred Experience:
o    Experience in HR policy development and implementation.
o    Prior experience in recruitment and onboarding.
