Lawn Care Supervisor bei Virginia Green

Position Summary 

The Regional Team Leader is responsible for providing Service Leaders with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to deliver customer service in accordance with Virginia Greens policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Ensure service leaders are providing quality customer service, according to company policies and procedures and through quality control checks.  Maintain a log of observations and make corrections when necessary.   
• Track customer retention, sales, SRQs and customer holds maintaining both quality of service and goals are met
• Manage service leader development and retention through regular TSO visits, meetings and establishing a team focused environment
• Reinforce service leaders are following appropriate policies and procedures with mobile devices.  Both for customer services purposes and for company record keeping.
• Oversee and inspect quality of applications on Commercial properties in specified region
• Assist in the growth and development of service leaders to include but not be limited to; additional pesticide certification, promotion, communication skills improvement, and customer service skill
• Provide initial and ongoing Training Support in agronomic, application, calibration, pesticide certification, vehicle operation, safety, routing communication and Mobile Live
• Inspect and calibrate equipment to insure it is in proper working order.  Record all checks
• Work with the service leaders to ensure company and individual performance goals are being met or exceeded
• Check product usage of all employees daily by monitoring truck filling and recording usage reports
• Periodic checks of truck GPS records to insure efficiency and correct service address
• Assist service leaders with timely completion of Service Request and Call Logs
• Provide field assistance to service leaders
• Ensure trucks are clean, properly filled, tank labeling of pesticides is always current, and technicians are prepared for any switching if necessary
• Responsible for the completion of work and daily revenue of the service leaders within the time parameters and goals set by the operations manager

Required Qualifications / Attributes 

• VDACS commercial pesticide applicators license 3A or 3B
• Valid Virginia driver’s license
• Driving record must pass insurability test
• Strong agronomic background in turf and ornamental care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Education and Experience 

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of related experience in the lawn care field

Minimum Physical Requirements  

• Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Repetitive use of hands
