Principales fonctions :
Participe à la préparation des états financiers and autres rapports actuariels sous bases US GAAP et IFRS 17
Valide les données utilisées dans les calculs actuariels et produit des rapports de vérification internes et externes
Assiste dans la préparation du rapport de l’actuaire désigné et d’autres rapports réglementaires
Supporte la production de projections financières et collabore dans l’analyse et la production de rapports
Représente le département d’actuariat corporatif dans certaines initiatives
Participe, à l’aide d’outils informatiques, à la préparation des calculs actuariels
S’assure de l’intégrité des bases de données utilisées
Accomplis d’autres tâches assignées
Qualifications:
Diplôme universitaire en actuariat ou en mathématiques
Démontrer un engagement envers la profession actuarielle, par la progression des examens, est fortement souhaitée
Forte connaissance et intérêt pour l’informatique et logiciels : MS Office, VBA, SQL, Oracle
Bonne connaissance des logiciels AXIS est un atout
Expérience en assurances collectives est un atout
Aptitudes:
Excellentes habiletés pour les communications et les relations interpersonnelles
Solide esprit technique et analytique
Sens de l’organisation et de la minutie
Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) à l’oral et à l’écrit est nécessaire pour ce poste, car nombre de nos clients sont anglophones et de nombreux documents provenant des clients et utilisés dans le cadre du travail sont en anglais

Reporting to the Senior Actuarial Analyst, the candidate assumes corporate duties in order to meet the departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the preparation of the financial statements and other actuarial reports for US GAAP and IFRS 17
Assist in the preparation of the actuarial report (Appointed Actuary Report)
Validate the data used in the actuarial calculation and produce the external & internal verification reports
Support the production of financial projections and collaborate in the analysis and production of reports
Represent the Corporate Actuarial department on certain projects
Participate, by using software tools, in the preparation of the necessary actuarial evaluations
Ensure the integrity of the databases used
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial or in mathematics
Demonstrated commitment to the actuarial profession through exam progress is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge and interest for computer & software skills, MS Office, VBA, SQL, Oracle, Unix
Good knowledge of the AXIS software, an asset
Group insurance experience, an asset
Abilities:
Solid technical and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sense of organization and detailed-oriented
Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, is essential for this role. Many of our clients are English-speaking, and a significant portion of client-related documentation and work materials are in English.

Compensation Range:
$68,200.00 - $85,250.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
