Requirements: Education and Experience- some background in dealing with school-age children is preferred; must have TB Clearance and CPR first aid certification before the start of employment DUTIES: • supervise students • check-in and check out playground equipment • maintain discipline and control of students while in lines, in the food eating areas, hallways and playground • report any unsafe conditions to principal • maintain visible contact with students on playgrounds to ensure safety and to maintain order • restroom/health zone monitor and other duties as assigned at the specific site; the individual must arrive promptly to assigned area.

17.00-19.00 per hour

General Description of the Position: Under the supervision of the school Principal/Vice Principal/PE Teacher, the individual assumes responsibility for the safety and welfare of students under his/her charge while students are in the lunch area, classrooms on rainy days, playground, and while students are on their way to and from designated eating and play areas. Part-time, 5 days a week; M-F 4 hours a day 10:30 AM-2:30 PM.
