Job Description:
The Business Process Architect will develop functional expertise and contribute to the design and analysis of new business processes that support system enhancements and operational improvements. This role participates across the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring that business needs are accurately represented and translated into actionable requirements, process flows, and documentation.
This is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and designing new business processes to guide the implementation of new technologies and system changes.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to define functional requirements, process needs, and use cases.
- Conducting user and task analysis to clearly represent business needs and ensure alignment with system capabilities.
- Supporting the creation of functional requirements, business process documentation, and design specifications.
- Providing functional support to developers, system operators, and cross-functional team members throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Performing functional analysis and testing, including SQL-based data verification, to support issue resolution and data cleanup efforts.
- Participating in requirements gathering, process design sessions, and testing cycles under the direction of senior analysts.
- Attending stakeholder and client meetings to capture and refine business requirements for system enhancements.
- Working with system analysts, developers, and operational teams to ensure shared understanding of new business processes and functional expectations.
- Supporting the development of process documentation, workflow diagrams, and procedural guidance.
- Coordinating and supporting future system integrations related to FTII systems, including functional validation and cross-team collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- The Functional Analyst is expected to have familiarity with the Software Delivery Lifecycle and/or experience supporting Operations of a System Application
- Proficiency in Functional Requirements Analysis, SQL database queries, and Business Process Design
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
