Allianz Commercial takes a unique, partnership approach to delivering Captive solutions. Through Alternative Risk Transfer (ART), we work closely with clients and brokers to create tailored unbundled fronting solutions. From coordinated standalone local placements to fully integrated International Insurance Programs, we adopt a modular approach to program design to ensure our Captive clients are fully covered wherever their business takes them. Together, we deliver global service excellence, contract certainty and peace of mind in the most flexible, cost effective and efficient way – backed by the established strength and stability of the Allianz Group.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the ART Head of Global Captive Fronting CEE and Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of Global Captive Fronting accounts. You will act as the Subject Matter Expert for Captive fronted business and the key relationship point of contact for clients and brokers on designated accounts. You will provide technical advice with respect to Captive Fronted program structures and design to the Allianz Commercial Product Lines. You will develop new business initiatives in conjunction with Distribution Management, growing the portfolio in terms of accounts and fee income and will market the ART Captive Fronting value proposition.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Developing new business in conjunction with distribution management and LOBs.

Adhering to corporate compliance standards and requirements for credit risk, legal documentation, credit enhancements, deal sign off procedures, and sanctions compliance and licensing requirements.

Promoting and marketing the ART value proposition for fronting and structured underwriting to the market and internally within the Allianz Commercial and Allianz Group.

Building strong relationships with key client and broker contacts, as well as developing relationships with Allianz Commercial LOBs and the Multinational Unit.

Managing a portfolio of Global Captive Multinational Structured Fronting accounts, including overall responsibility for the management of the credit exposures, governance and compliance of the portfolio.

Delivering the agreed upon service standards, fee negotiation, account profitability and client relationship management.

Establishing close alignment with Allianz Commercial Multinational, ART Finance and other functions of Allianz Commercial.

Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to innovate global processes.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
-
A minimum of 5 years of transactional expertise in negotiating, structuring and executing complex Fronting and Multinational programs;

Strong Client relationship management experience:
-
3+ years’ experience in either underwriting or broking a line of business or multinational;

In-depth understanding of the Captive concept, their rationale, their use and the nature of their operations;

Broad-based knowledge of AzC’s major lines of business;

Ability to develop innovative solutions in changing environments;

Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making;

Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, brokers and peers;

Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally;

Skilled at communicating both internally and externally at senior levels; and
-
University degree or Insurance qualification in one or more of the following areas: Actuarial, Insurance, Underwriting, Finance or Legal.
The annualized base pay range for this role is $120,313 - $200,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
