What you would do as our ERP Development Lead
You would operate and streamline the development organization aligned with delivery processes and provide technical leadership to internal and external development team members. The candidate would also maintain high standards of software quality in line with the EMEIA ERP Development Policy and deal with Development suppliers for EMEIA ERP Instances. Identify and detect areas for improvements within the ERP Solutions and Team is also part of the job.
You would also:
• Guide Developers (internal, external) to follow development best practices and Development & Deployment policies and be responsible for regular updating of Development & Deployment Documentation.
• Implement automated deployment and testing process and do regular Code reviews.
• Find Solutions with Code merge and Deployments issues and guide ISV suppliers on the right deliveries for EMEIA ERP Instances.
• Do regular Deployments of new Microsoft versions and ISV upgrades into D365F&O and set up and monitor KPIs for development processes.
• Prepare reports and documentation on development status and quality and implement automated deployment and testing processes.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
• Proven ERP implementation experience in large-scale environments (1000+ users) and strong knowledge of Dynamics AX versions (2009, 2012) and D365F&SCM.
• A perfect understand programming principles and best practices and have knowledge of formal software release and deployment management.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
- X++ coding and debugging (AX 2009, 2012, D365F&O)
- Integration frameworks (AIF, DIXF) and data management in D365FO.
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Programming with the Microsoft .Net framework
- Microsoft Integration stack (Services, Biztalk, MSMQ, Power Tools), Dell Boomi
• Strong knowledge of following tools:
- Familiarity with automated deployment and DevOps practices.
- Visual Studio Tools for Dynamics AX and X++; GITHUB
- Morph X++
- Team Foundation Server (including AX)
• Fluency in English, additional European language a plus
