Service Parts Manager
Location: Greenville, Michigan
Reports to: Director of Materials
Middleby Refrigeration is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Parts Manager to join our team in Greenville, MI. This essential role is responsible for supporting commercial and residential customers with warranty and / or replacement parts for units in the field.

Expected Hours of Work:
This position is full-time. The general scheduled workdays are Monday through Friday.
Position Overview:
The Service Parts Manager leads the team responsible for providing warranty and service parts for end customers. This a critical role in providing world-class service to customers through ensuring parts availability combined with quick and accurate delivery parts.
Responsibilities:
- Department Supervision: Supervise a team of Shipping Clerks and Parts Pickers to ensure the Parts Service Department meets all metrics around safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Order Fulfillment: Ensures the proper packaging and labelling of parts so that all orders ship within 24 hours.
- Inventory Management: Determines the appropriate stocking level for service parts. Monitors and maintains accurate inventory utilizing the cycle count program.
- Service Parts Management: Manages the setup process for parts, creation of BOMs, lead-times, photos, etc.to ensure needed parts are accurately listed for sale online.
- Metrics: Create, monitor and deploy countermeasures to ensure departmental goals for on time delivery, order cycle time, inventory accuracy, and profitability are being met.
- Customer Service: Proactively notify the Customer Service team about shortages/delays in fulfilling service orders. Including maintaining website data regarding part availability and lead time.
- Assembly: Manages the Service Parts Assembly cell to ensure the timely delivery of service parts for customer orders.
- Part Coordination: Works with the Purchasing and Production team to ensure the timely delivery of the required service parts.
- Forecasting: Analyzes customer data and historical usage to forecast demand for service parts.
- Obsolescence: Monitors inventory to minimize obsolescence. Identifies slow moving and obsolete inventory. Dispose of obsolete material per policy.
- Other Duties: Perform additional accounting-related tasks assigned by management
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in inventory management or warehouse-related roles
- Solid understanding of inventory planning
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong computer skills including Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- Working knowledge of MRP system and lean manufacturing principles.
- Capable of using a range of software to derive reports, graphs and analysis in the appropriate format.
- Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management and to pass a drug screen.
Working Conditions:
- Factory / Warehouse environment
- Travel Minimal to none
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday- Friday
