Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing cross-functional and/or inter-departmental projects for Line of Business products, processes, functions, and employee readiness. Key responsibilities of the job include partnering with the business to develop a plan to sustain change, evaluating current methods, and developing strategies to implement changes and project improvements. Job expectations include overseeing projects, using appropriate tools to drive project completion, and serving as a secondary point of contact to department managers for critical change initiatives.

Bank of America is seeking a strategic leader to oversee and evolve the program, systems, processes, and partnerships that power the delivery of community education and career readiness workshops. This role will lead the development of a scalable, data-informed program that support the bank’s broader workforce development strategy and drives market share growth—advancing community impact, strengthening local economies, and driving business outcomes.

The Operations Strategy Manager will serve as a key architect of how the bank engages with external partners to provide career readiness, manages workshop delivery, and leverages technology platforms to ensure seamless execution and measurable impact. This role will collaborate across teams to align education delivery with enterprise goals, streamline intake and registration systems, and enhance the customer experience for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the execution of defined project tasks through tracking of deliverables and their statuses, developing project plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators
  • Leads project and/or remediation requirement documentation efforts based on identified gaps and controls needed for sustained performance
  • Plans and organizes projects using appropriate tools and techniques, including Technology platforms used by client facing employees, change management tools, and risk and issue management tools to ensure efficient and effective project completion
  • Navigates across various Lines of Business and partner organizations, including Technology and Risk, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution
  • Supports the adoption and sustainment of change initiatives and helps assess adoption risks
  •  Develops, maintains, and reports on an overall integrated delivery plan, raising any risks, developing a mitigation plan, and escalating issues appropriately to respective stakeholders
  • Define the value proposition for Bank of Americas career readiness resources and design program execution aligned to the value the bank can provide to communities and clients.
  • Design and optimize the end-to-end intake and registration process for career readiness workshops, ensuring alignment with enterprise workforce development strategy.
  • Lead the evolution of the WFD Request Tool and ERS system to support scalable, efficient, and user-friendly workshop delivery.
  • Develop and implement standardized templates, workflows, and reporting tools to support consistent execution and measurement across markets.

Required Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience in LMO, Academy, Global Community Opportunity, talent acquisition or program Management function 

- Ability to design strategies and processes that benefit the community and drive business value for the company. 

- Strong analytical mindset 

- Collaborative with excellent customer service skills

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
