| Position Summary | UNM Center for Teaching and Learning is looking for a talented individual to join our team and serve in the position of Data Scientist I. The person selected for this position will report to the Director for the Office of Institutional Analytics, with a dotted line to the CTL Executive Director. This position also works closely with leaders of Student Learning Assistance and Graduate Support as well as Teaching Support and Digital Learning. They will provide a wide array of data organization, processing, analysis, and reporting for CTL and partner units that rely on CTL data. This position will apply advanced analytical, statistical, and visualization techniques to examine student learning outcomes, instructional practices, and institutional performance indicators. The Data Scientist will operationalize predictive and diagnostic models, design and manage data pipelines, and translate complex analyses into actionable insights that inform policy, pedagogy, and program design. |

| Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
