Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, receive, and interpret signals received on duress alarms, area evacuation alarm signals, and safety shower/emergency eyewash activations.
- Initiate site-wide emergency and routine notifications via telephone, paging systems, and radio
- Monitor and receive all site emergency communications.
- Maintain/update emergency contact information for key personnel.
- Perform emergency dispatch, crisis intervention, and provide pre-arrival instructions for emergency, nonemergency, medical, and ERT events.
- Actively participate in the EHS program by facilitating communication for reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately.
- Follow proper change management practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are met.
- Must be able to pass Medical Dispatcher Certification.
